GCSE Maths Foundation covers a wide range of skills, so knowing what to revise can be difficult.
This checklist breaks the main Foundation GCSE Maths content into manageable topic areas. Use it to identify the skills you already feel confident with and the ones that need more practice.
You do not need to revise everything at once. Work through one section at a time and focus especially on topics you regularly lose marks on.

Don’t treat this as a list to memorise.
Start by identifying three categories:
— you can answer exam questions on the topic without help.
— you understand the idea but make mistakes.
— you are unsure how to start.
Prioritise the second group first. Improving topics you partly understand is often the quickest way to gain additional marks.
This checklist is based on the GCSE Mathematics subject content used across exam boards in England. Foundation tier papers can assess both basic and additional Foundation content. Individual exam boards may organise or present topics differently, and questions can combine several skills within the same problem.
