1. What is Maths Unlocked?
Maths Unlocked is a GCSE maths revision platform being developed by Roy Gillin, a maths teacher with over 10 years’ experience across mainstream and specialist education.
The aim is to make maths revision clearer, more structured and more accessible.
2. What will pupils be able to do?
Depending on the plan, pupils may be able to:
- complete Daily 10 revision
- practise GCSE maths topics
- receive instant feedback
- track progress
- identify weak areas
- complete quizzes and mini tests
- work through assigned tasks
- build confidence through regular practice
3. What is included in the free version?
The free version is intended to include:
- Daily 10 maths revision
- selected GCSE topic practice
- a limited number of revision questions
- clear explanations and feedback
- support for regular revision habits
4. What is included in paid plans?
Paid plans may include:
- full topic access
- saved progress
- more revision questions
- parent progress monitoring
- tutor tools
- teacher tools
- school dashboards

5. Is Maths Unlocked a replacement for school or tutoring?
No.
Maths Unlocked is a revision and practice tool. It can support school learning and tutoring, but it does not replace good teaching, professional support or exam preparation from school.
Maths Unlocked cannot guarantee a particular GCSE grade.
6. What information is collected?
Maths Unlocked may collect information needed to run the app and track progress, such as:
- account details
- topics attempted
- scores
- progress
- weak areas
- tasks completed
- technical information needed to keep the app working

7. Can parents see progress?
Where parent accounts are available, parents may be able to see information such as:
- topics completed
- quiz scores

The purpose is to help parents support revision, not to put unnecessary pressure on pupils.
8. Are there adverts?
Maths Unlocked may use sponsorship to help fund free GCSE maths revision access.
Sponsor recognition should be clean, appropriate and education-friendly.
Maths Unlocked does not use pop-up adverts inside active revision questions and does not use tracking-based advertising aimed at pupils.

10. How do I cancel a paid plan?
Cancellation instructions will be provided when paid plans are introduced.
